Excel File Repair

As a consultant I get all kinds of stories with all types of stories. Here are a few I received over the years that are pertinent to the subject matter of this site. I can only write their first name as it would be difficult to get their permission to write their full name. I will add them to this page over time:

Nightmare!
(...) so the power goes out and I am sitting there in the dark with only one thought in my mind my file, my file! I new it could not be good to have a power outage suddenly turn off your computer while working on a massive Excel file. Of course I was right to be worried. The file would not open after I got my power back. Then I was given your name and you saved my %$ss. Thanks again! - Mark

(In this case I used ExcelFIX to create a new file that contained all his data. He did lose some of the datas but nothing that could not be rewritten in a few minutes)
